Editorial Standards

Sourcing

Factual claims rely on primary sources: court records, regulator and agency publications, and companies' own published statements. Each story lists sources with the date they were checked. Stories that cannot be verified stay in draft.

Attribution

Company statements are attributed to where they were published. We do not invent quotes, interviews, titles or biographical details, and we state when no interview took place.

Comparisons

Where information is not publicly available, we write "Not publicly confirmed." Missing information is never treated as evidence that a company lacks a service. We avoid superlatives we cannot document.

Disclosure

Sponsored or company-supplied material is labeled as such on the story. Commercial relationships with companies we cover are disclosed on the relevant article.

Dates

Every story shows its actual publication date, and a revision date when it has been updated.
